Group Psychotherapy Sessions
11/2 hour sessions – meeting once a week – Eur35 per person per session.
The group support therapy sessions help connect woman through their journey and provides a safe, empathetic and non-judgemental space. The group provides a space to discuss all issues, hear others stories and feel seen, heard and listened to in your own journey. Having peers to reflect back to you that what you are going through is normal, but painful and difficult can help woman in coming to terms with and acceptance of the transition into the next phase of their lives. Woman describe having others to talk to and share their experiences, brings comfort, learning and feeling less overwhelmed and isolated.
Anxiety, depression, low mood and suicidal ideation are some of the issues that will be supported and assessed in group therapy with the help and support of the therapist. We will work with G.P.’s and other healthcare professionals if a referral needs to be made for extra supports.
